Yet others will tell you using a $1300 coilover does nothing for your handling and that stock is actually better
You're funny...
Stock suspension>Lower ride height, stiffer spring rate, and dampening adjustability

[QUOTE=lowap1,Apr 26 2007, 03:24 PM] And those are also the same people that have nothing to back their claims. They have driven one car and have nothing to compare it to.

Nothing to back their claims except they race all the time and have for years in the S2000.
Look, I'm not a coilover or track expert and I understand you just put Buddy Clubs on your car so you may be a little biased but take your arguement over to the Race and Competition forum. There are plenty of guys in there with a lot of S2000 racing experience. I NEVER see them recommend a cheap set of coilovers or shocks over stock for racing.
I'm probably going to end up with a set or coilovers so I can control my ride height and dampening but i'm not crazy enought to think that lower ride height and stiffer springs automatically mean a better handling car.

As for the comment about your lowering ride height not affecting handling, why even buy coilovers with with height adjustment. What are you gonna raise the car up? If what you say is true, then why don't you go buy a set of adjustable shock like Koni's and use your stock springs if there's no difference?
