Tim, I don't get it. You've spent something like $5000 on your car, on top of the $33000 purchase price, and you're looking to save $360 by putting inferior tires on? There's a reason S03pp's are more - they're better. Better dry, better wet, better cold, quieter. So they only last 10,000 miles? BFD.

i wish but it's all about a good deal....and I feel that the MX's are very comparable to the S03...they have the exact same tread design and the specs are very similar....the only diff is going to be the actual compound but even that has to be close...the tread wear is 220AAA on both....$360 is alot of money when these are the 6th set of tires I've purchased (including the blizzaks that I use to rest the car on during the winter....just in case ) that's a savings of about $1800 over 5 sets of tires

Now that sure is a nice looking red car!!!

Also I just dropped Ray's wheel off to the plastic surgeon. He has Kumhos and I must say the tread pattern looks pretty cool.

Tread wear is essentially meaningless between brands. They don't test the same way, though all companys reference the same tire.

The compounds are not comparable, and neither is the construction.

"Good deal" and "tires" do not belong together when talking about a sports car!
