Default Trip to Cleveland

Hey guys, i'll be headed up on Saturday afternoon to Ganley Honda to have my hardtop installed by Jeff. I will be heading straight up I71 into C-town. Is there anything I should look for or avoid? Are there any construction delays, or bad roads that I should know about? I've mapped it out using Yahoo maps, and it appears to be about a 3.5 hours drive at most.

I took this exact route a month or two ago. There is the 3rd lane project going on between C-town and C-bus. It maintains 2 lanes but you have to watch for trucks and flying debris. Also, depending on when you get to C-bus, you may want to take the I70 west bypass. Although 71 through town should be ok on a Saturday. Is this a one day trip or are you staying over? We could show you around some roads assuming we don't have a foot of snow by then

If the stretch of I71 between Columbus and Cleveland is really bad, would I be better off taking I70 east in C-bus and taking I77 into C-town instead of I71? I would like to do my best to avoid driving in any lengthy construction zone since all the debris and the crazy ass truckers scare the hell out of me. If there is time, I would love to see what local roads you guys have to offer. I set up an appointment with Jeff at Ganley Honda for 4pm............

You should be ok on 71. Going all the way to 77 would take you wayyyy the hell out of the way. And Ganley is on the west side of C-town so you would have to go all the way back PAST 71. You'd be doing a big-ass circle. Truck traffic on Saturday should be light. And God knows there won't be any construction going on on the weekend. That would just make sense and we know ODOT has none of that.
