Finally got hold of the "sisters" and they still don't have my check However they have made it clear as is on their updated website that there is a 3 night minimum.

In essence what was a 600.00 split now is a 900.00 split which is IMHO.I verified with the bank that the check never cleared and I've stopped pay on it.

I apolgize to all who have expressed interest in a unique setting for this semi-non offical run to US129. We have other options in accommodations and time is running out.

I'm still planning on going but the Jameson Inn - Alcoa, TN would be Plan- "B".


There is another issue which must be addressed and that is "The Honda Hoot" is going on the same weekend so expect 4-5000 motorcycles in the area that weekend to contend with.

At the time I did the original post the "Tail of the Dragon" calendar had no mention of this huge event.

That's alot of bikes on the Dragon. Does planB include a different weekend?

 

I don't think they would all be there at one time but in the area. Dragon would be a natural allure;as would the Parkway and the Cherhola. We all go back in August;so July too?

Needless to say I'm a lil bummed out.

 

Well, instead I have a new run mapped through the Hills, that includes Revenge. Why don't we stay local and do something.
