We have had our 04 Element (LX, AWD, 5-speed) for almost 3 years and still love it. It is great for the dog and the daily grind. I will admit the auto version does feel anemic, but our manual shift car is great for what it is. I asked to wife what she is getting next and she replied "another Element, but it has to be another manual".

I can't argue that there is a tremendous amount of utility to the vehicle and it was innovatively created. It's just not what I would buy to replace a sporty car like an S2000, which is how I originally read this thread.

That car will probaby be the most reliable TT once the dealer gets done replacing all the items that went bad on me.
