You can pick up a 98-00 c5 nowadays for about $20k and then ship the thing to Lingenfelter and for about $25k less than a new C6 Z06 you will have a much faster car!!

but i'm still hoping to pick up an nsx...
oh well, doesn't matter... got 3 years before i pull the trigger on anything..

until then i'll bitch and complain and wish...



speaking of... has anyone talked to dave lately? haven't seen him much on the board lately..

 

I'm finding my S2000 hard to replace. It's not leased, it's purchased. A couple of times I've thought about trading it in for something more practical and with more luxery to it (Lexus or BMW) but I'm trying to refrain from getting a common car if you know what I mean. I like the exclusivity of the S2000 in comparision to the brands I've considered, and I know I will miss the S2000 if I can't enjoy the go kart handling and grip in another car...which I have yet to find unless I drive an NSX, Porsche, or Ferrari.

I'm being tempted to get something bigger, but has to also be sportier. I have something in mind and will find out more from the Auto Show debut.

 

Buy your S off lease, then wait and see what 08 or 09 hold for the NSX and S2000. As clean as your car is, surely it is worth more than the residual lease value....

cayman ............. the only P car to own is one with 2 turbos
