Throw out some dates/times and some restaurant ideas (in/near Tulsa). See the Places to go for monthly meets thread for some ideas. So far we have:

Please indicate (1) if you plan on attending, (2) whether or not you will be bringing a guest so we can get an accurate headcount for dinner reservations and (3) which restaurant(s) you prefer. A will be placed next to the restaurant name above for every vote it gets. The restaurant with the most stars is where we'll go. Sound fair?

I love McNellies... but that can be far for many. How about Bakers Street Pub on Memorial. I like KilKenney's too, but parking... Yikes.

It's supposed to be a "dinner" meet, not a "drinking" meet! Actually, it doesn't necessarily have to be a "dinner" meet, i.e. we can do breakfast or lunch... or brunch!

Just because it is a pub does not mean that they don't have good food.... And drink.


Breakfast is tough in this town. I know of a half dozen places worth anything.. But they are all sort of pricy. What about that pizza place on 71st and Sheridan. I love it for their Chicago deep dish, but a lot of people hate it since they go in and order and don't
understand why it takes an hour for pizza. This is not okie pizza. This is a pie!!! If y ou have the time it is pretty good. Maybe we meet.. Order.. Go back outside and talk cars for an hour... Go back in and eat?

Just a thought. Perhaps too complicated. But trying to come up with some ideas.

I'm down for whatever. What's the name of that pizza place? Marley's? I've never been there.

Okay ...... today is the 19th. Guess we're not getting together today. Shall we do this on the 26th then? My vote is for any of these places you guys have mentioned, AND I also vote that we take a short drive after we eat, I think we all enjoyed that last month.

I'm a new kid on the block; so don't haze me! LOL When/How often are get togethers planned for the OKC area? I found you all down in Bricktown and have been hoping for another meet in that area. Appreciate any info offered!!!!!

We typically alternate between Tulsa and OKC. May was OKC, so June was Tulsa, then July was OKC and now August is Tulsa... but that doesn't mean that OKC can't have a meet in any given month. Anyone can organize events and everyone is encouraged to voice their opinion as to what, where, when, etc. It's sort of a team effort, rather than a dictatorship.
