Thanks to David, arrangements have been made to float the Niangua River on July 14th. Overnight accommodations (Friday night AND Saturday night) for ~12 people have been made at Cedar Ridge Campground.
We figure the total cost of lodging will be $263.13 (about $22 per person if divided amongst 12 people). The prices for watercraft rentals are very reasonable: $27 - kayak $35 - canoe $80 - 4-man raft $110 - 6-man raft $130 - 8-man raft We can do either a 7-mile or 12-mile float (same price). Cedar Ridge does have RV hook-ups ($10) so if anyone wants to, bring it on! David says their parking area is gravel (although pretty well packed), so not sure if y'all want to bring your Ss. We need to know how many people will be participating so that we can adjust the reservations accordingly without penalty. Therefore, please let me know if you'll be joining us no later than July 1st. |
Too far for my blood - you guys have fun!
