ya the EMU, I dont know? I hope thats not the case. It has a sticker over the USB port, maybe thats what they meant by locked?

If the EMU wasnt able to be retuned I dont see the point in having the sticker over the usb slot to prove that nothings been tampered with.

Just my luck that this would be the case though

Gonna try to find that thread over the pretuned one now

looked at the manual that came with the unit

* These settings are NOT intended to be base settings for professional tuners; hence, all settings are locked within the unit and, as such, cannot be read, copied or altered. Maps will not be unlocked and the unit should be returned if reprogramming is required.

Well atleast you saved me 4 hours worth of driving

sell it and buy another emu that can be tuned. no reason in owning something like that if it can't be tuned for each car. no two cars are the same

Can't you just make a new set of maps from scratch? I've been playing with mine ever since I got it. I even made a brand new "zeroized" set of maps for when I get it tuned next time. I bet I could figure it out.

You could unlock them if you knew the password they set. If not then you'll have to start over.

I have the program if you need help.

Ya thats what the guys at Humble were saying, the guy i was talking to on the phone (not Alex) said GEMU is really hard to tune and they couldnt do it from scratch anyways or something.

I guess ill just keep this how it is until I can find someone whose really good with the EMU
