flew to Chicago yesterday morning and got an 03 nfr with 32k miles on it. Its not the one i originally planed to get but the member here did something shady so i found a different one.


Its got a couple small problems.

It has a small ware spot not all the way through but getting close.

Their was an aftermarket stero installed not aftermarket headunit but just speakers im assumeing and they dont work. The head unit works just not the speakers. Will get pics so you guys can help me

Their is also and aftermarket fujita cold air intake installed and its missing a metal tie thingy i fixed it with zip ties for the drive back.

New clutch was instaled and im hopeing what i hear is normal clutch buzz lol.

i drove it for 11hrs yesterday with NO music.. lol first 4 with top down then i realized i got a sunburn cause of that then the top went up the rest of the way.

Its an amazeing car i like it more now than i did yesterday before i got it lol. An rsx is nothing compared to this car. 6th gear pulls harder than rsx vtec lol.. maybe not but close..


will get pics up soon and their are some tires on it ( who would have guessed) i think they may be good or at least im hopeing they are i havent looked them up on tire rack or gone back to the tire thread i made to see if they were ones from their lol.. they are yokahoma all season ones im not sure the name i will update that later.

Im going to change the fluids today see if i can find a hardware store with the metal clamp i need. and look at that stero.

 

awesome! Take that cold air off, they suck. Put on a stock air box and snorkel or pay the $1000 for a Password Jdm intake. Also there is a guy in Texas selling a nfr hardtop. clutch buzz is normal somewhat. Congrats!!!

it looks like the original owner installed an aftermarket amp and head unit but he kept the subs and head unit. He then threw in the stock head unit. But its all wired up for the aftermarket one still and wont work with the stock one. It has 2 analog type inputs and about 4 blue aftermarket wires with just frayed ends. The amp is a infinity reference 7520a i believe. So what head units will hook up to this. It is going to be alot easier to just get a head unit then trying to put it back stock..

 

I forgot to add that the tires are yokohoma ectsa asx.. any good? Fronts have alot of tread rears need to be replaced. They have some tread left and would work for a month or 2 but need to be replaced and i would rather just do it now. So should i just get these agin or are they awful. Since i already have fronts like this with good tread im wanting to do another sett of rears and when they go change brands.
