just be careful bro and invest in a helmet no cheaper than $800. i almost lost my life on a r6 but thanks to my helmet im still here. i had a shoei zx-11. i hit a constructon cone laying in the road from a previous worksite at 65 mph and i broke my femur in half, broke 4 ribs, hella road rash all over my arms and back and was knocked out in the hospital for 3 days.

I have an icon helmet but I'm gonna buy a shoei really soon. Im picking up gloves and a jacket with the bike. I appreciate the concern. I'm not going more than around the block for a few rides so I can get comfortable on the bike.

it is not about how much money you spend on a helmet OKLAHOMA ITS ABOUT WEARING IT... chuckles the more expensive the helmet the lighter and more attractive (OOO pretty colors) all helmets have to conform to a certain standard called snell ratings and be dot approved.

Thats true, but I would feel better rocking a shoei lid. Alex, I was in tulsa today, we went to the aquarium in jenks!! I should've called but I wanted to get back and ride before dark. Call me when you come down and we'll hang out. (sorry dude but, I didn't ride the bike to tulsa)

It's all good, I was out for a lot of the day doing a 100 mile bike ride for an event here in town. Did you and taylor like the aquarium? I should be back in the OKC area a few times in june, i'll hit you up and we can go out for a drive or somethin'
