Default new guy from edmond

hello all you okies! i have had my s2 for about 6 months now and i am just now getting around to getting on here. i have a silver stone 2004. she is lowered and on black rota slip streams ( looking for new wheels if anyone has some for sale) also has a comp-tech intake, test pipe, skunk 2 shift knob, recaro seats, and full JL system. i am hoping that the Oklahoma s2000 owners are an active group. i came from a heads, cam GTO and out okgoatherd would go to lunch about once a month and that was always a blast. anyways i am from Edmond, and go to school at rose state.my future plans for the car is putting my rear diffuser on, it arrives the 21st. then i am wanting new wheels, invidia n1, and will more then likely go turbo in august or September. i hope to meet y'all soon, i love auto cross and road course racing, that's why i bought the car! and my name is Tyler. if you missed my screen name.

Hello! We are a fairly active community. We have dinner meets at least once a month (we alternate between OKC and Tulsa every month). Julie is the one in charge of most of the meets and events that we do. The whole community is pretty great. Feel free to ask any of us if you have any questions. Your s2k sounds awesome! I wouldn't recommend the invidia n1 though. I've heard they are rather loud and have a lot of drone. There's also a facebook group if you wanna join that.

yea i would love to join the FB group, can you send me a link, me and Facebook search do not agree with each other. im glad that this will be an active group, as long as the events are not on drill weekend, which the somehow always are!!

and about the exhaust, my entire trunk is already dynomatted, and i will probably be doing the passenger compartment soon because i have to rewire my sub, i got a short in the wire. so i was not too worried about drone. that stuff does wonders for any noise! i just cant find any other exhaust that sounds good, i think everything else is raspy or ricey and i would hate to make my car sound like that.

I think the n1 might sound ricey, but if you want to talk to someone that has one you should talk to Robert. I'm not sure of his username on here but he's on the fb group. Good luck

Welcome to the group!

I'm Skyler, and while I don't personally live in OK, I do like to come visit as much as I can.

It sounds like you have some pretty good plans for your car. You should also see if you have the chance to come join us in March for the Boston Mountain Tour. There is a thread about it in the OK section, here, and I think you'd really have a great time getting to know some of the other owners during the event plus, you get to spend time driving your car as well.

There are a great group of people here in the OK section. I hope you can get to know them and enjoy hanging out!
