Hmm, I don't believe so. Will have to consult the manual.

Wow! 36,200+ here. I have enjoyed ~23,300 of those miles.

I think it flashes at about 6000 miles clocked on your maintenance timer... it'll start to blink every time you start your car as well until 7500 when it's time to change. If you've changed it recently, it's probably because the shop forgot to reset it or doesn't know how to. Either way, if you want to reset the maintenance timer, it's in the manual by Oil Change.
I believe the mileage begins when the maintenance light is last reset.

This is in the shop manual. I will post the exact mileage numbers later.

The counter begins at reset time. At around 5,900 - 6,100 it blinks for 10 seconds when the ignition switch is turned on. At around 7,400 - 7,600 it comes on and stays on while the ignition is on.

Julie your crazy it does look good but you will find since you don't have it you will end up that you will need it. you will see.
NAHH...
The only time it sucks not to have wipers is in down pours... The down pour is not that bad, the rain just sheets off, it's when you go to pass semi's on the highway and your WS gets washed out... Literally blind for a few seconds

I haven't had wipers on my car since ownership basically. And if you don't have wipers you don't need a WS washer bottle, lines etc...

I actually got caught in a heavy down pour on the way back from our Spavinaw run, and actually (besides the fact that I was hydroplaning) I couldn't even tell it was raining. Visibility was just fine. I'm seriously considering taking out the lines, bottle and even the lever on the steering column.
