Thats some high mileage, i bought mine with 23,003 miles for $18k. how much was yours with that kind of mileage bobofat? and whats your name cuz i dont want to call u that. lol. You've enjoyed alot of that car Julie, I have alot more to experience i guess! I think my favorite drive is from pennsylvania to oklahoma. I love dem highways in penn state thought the mountains..::sighs::
I paid less than 18k, but realized a couple weeks after purchase that I could have gotten a better deal. I had done a lot of research into S2Ks, but once I was ready to buy one, I wanted it right then and didn't wait around for the right deal. I was stoopid.

I'm curious about other states that have vehicle safety inspections. How do you pass the inspection without wipers or washer? I'm sure there is a way to get around that during the inspection, like replacing the wiper blades, but what about the washer if it's removed? Or, by chance, get pulled over and the cop notices you don't have wipers, is there a fine?

Here in Oklahoma, the state did away with vehicle safety inspections a few years back and removing wipers/washer isn't an issue. However, the state did give law enforcement the responsibility of enforcing vehicle safety... so there is a chance of receiving a fine for not having wipers, a small one, albeit.

Frankly, I'm not any good at posting pics on the board, so another s2ki member helped me and posted mine in one of the "Under the hood" sub-forums. Here's a link to them:

What do you think?

Thanks,
Richard
