So my vote is the later leave time (1:30 I think was suggested) with the scenic route. I would like to not take Kylie out of school too early to drive over if possible.

Please let me know what the consensus is and thanks!

Scenic is fine. Dinner in Eureka sounds good. If need to miss 540 traffic, could take turnpike to AR then scenic.

Looks like the majority has spoken so we'll meet up at Warehouse Market around 1pm and plan on leaving at 1:30! Please arrive with a full tank. The closest ethanol-free station from our meetup spot is about three miles away; it's a Phillips 66 on 31st just west of 129th. Actually, there's another one that's only two miles away but I've never filled up there before. It's called Cardinal's Corner and is on the southwest corner of 11th and 145th... in case anyone wants to try them out (let me know if you do please).

We'll take the long fun scenic route (Option A). This should put us in Eureka Springs around 5:30 pm at which time we can stop for an hour or so for dinner, and then be in Harrison well before dusk. We shouldn't have to worry too much about traffic as this route avoids Springdale altogether. :woot:

If you guys want, we can stop by the trout hatchery at Roaring River State Park. The route doesn't take us there but it would only add like eleven miles/eighteen minutes to the route. I'll leave it up to y'all.

If Time Permits... I am game for the Hatchery. Always like that stop, and won't be able to make it there on the way back. Plus that drive just east of the Hatchery is AMAZING..... (amazingly) short too!

Works for us. May be @ mkt after 1:00. Where's the meeting point location? I googled Warehouse , but no location off 44 E

For those who wish to caravan from the Tulsa area on Friday, April 5, let's meet at the Warehouse Market on Garnett just south of I-44 (click here for map) north end of the parking lot (opposite side of the grocery store) at 1:00 pm (leave by 1:30 pm).

That Love's on Hwy 69 by Hwy 412. If we leave Tulsa at 1:30, we should be there by 2pm if there's no traffic.

demery 04-04-2013 10:32 AM

Love's it is. I will be there waiting. Thanks.

Cool. I PM'd you my # on FB FYI.

I just realized that the Google map link to Option A route is not entirely accurate. I tried to fix it but am having some technical difficulties on the home PC combined with the fact that Google maps won't let me plot a route to the hotel coming in on Hwy 62 from the west end of town. :pullhair: I give up! :argh: So just don't look at it too closely. I won't get us lost, I promise!

One good thing about this route though... it takes us right by a place where we can get 93 octane with no ethanol!! :woot: It's half way between Eureka Springs and Harrison.

Found it. 1245 S Garnett.
