Pig Trail
While out driving the roads around Arkansas this weekend I decided to see how the Pig Trail was doing....road graders and dump trucks. The dump truck was flying through the corners pretty good but was having trouble staying on his side of the double yellows. It sure made my +1 scream loud.

OZARK — Arkansas highway officials say portions of the Pig Trail north of Ozark will be restricted to one lane for "an extended period of time" after heavy rain caused part of the highway to become unstable.
The route is known formally as Arkansas 23 but is commonly referred to as the Pig Trail. The state Highway and Transportation Department said Friday the road will be restricted to one lane in places.
One work area is 18 miles north of Interstate 40. When work is done there, construction will shift to a second area 19 1/2 miles north of the interstate.
According to highway officials, heavy rain in 2008 caused soil supporting a part of the road to become unstable. Kesser International of Little Rock has a $2.5 million contract to fix the road.

I was out there today, too. I think the consensus was that they're putting in some extra reinforcements so that it doesn't get washed off again
and that it will be under construction for several months.
Yes, Hwy 215 (from Pig Trail east to Hwy 103) is pretty decent. Take that to Hwy 103 south which is some OMG amazing fun...
at least for the most part. There are a couple of rough sections, but it's well worth it.
