I'm not a fan of cheap ebay coilovers. Godspeed, Megan, Ksport, etc. You get what you pay for, and a suspension is not something you should cheap out on.

Look into the Bilstein PSS.

Good info guys, I do recommend in getting a good set of coilovers: buddy club (Joe), zeal (huy), and tein mono flex (Justin), oh can't forget Megan racing (Brandon) I have been in the passenger sent and test drove Huy's car, they are all good suspension. LOL pick your posion, but if you can't afford a set, save up, it will be worth it in the long run. Or you can possible buy it used from a fellow s2ki members. Good luck sir!

with the rear skunk2 springs installed, you're going to be way too low for factory adjustments to take out all of the negative camber. they simply just drop the car way too much.

DO NOT BUY SKUNK2 LOWERING SPRINGS FOR THE S2K!!!!!!!

even after they settle, they make the rear of the car sit about 1.5 - 2 inches lower than the front!!! (i'm an a.s.e. certified mechaninc, and yes, i put them on correctly, i've installed many sets of suspension/springs on many hondas, including s2k's)

i had to cut 2 FULL COILS off of my front springs just to get the car to level out. the rates for the rear are waaaay too low. surprisingly, it still rides ok, but it is now too low on the stock shocks, so i'm about to buy some nice, real coilovers. never gonna try lowering springs again.

the 1 time i go with just regular lowering springs on a honda instead of buying fancy complete coilover suspension, i get screwed

i posted pics somewhere, i'll try to dig them up.
i had skunk2 on my s and my car set great. maybe you somehow got the only bad set they made. and just to confirm and not saying you did it wrong but the "f" goes in the rear. i did it the other way around the first time and had to switch it. car set great.

I have Espelirs on the stock shocks...had ZERO issues. Aligned at -1.5 in the front, -2.5 in the rear with the proper toe settings...and she handles like a dream, looks amazing too.

I am not sure why so many people think that aftermarket coilovers are the end all for the S2000. Unless you are aiming for the adjustability feature that aftermarket coilovers give you, why spend all the money on them? Personally, I wanted to be lowered for better handling and of course a more appealing ride height. How many people that have spent the cash on the aftermarket coilovers actually adjust them on a regular basis? I am guessing not that many...you probably are pretty serious about track time if you are adjusting them regularly.

Most of us on s2ki are casual sports car owners...aftermarket coilovers are overkill for the casual owner...not worth the money.

Anyone disagree? I am willing to debate this point.

Off my soapbox now, coilovers are just a peave of mine...sorry folks.

Well, the big lowering spring thread on this site that is littered with people having the same issue I had says different.

Skunk CLEARLY marks the springs "F" and "R" and someone posted an actual email from Skunk2 stating that the F's go in the front and the R's go in the rear.

Why would they mark them vice versa?

Anyways, I've got some real coilovers coming. The Skunk's just aren't doing it for me.

I'll take & post pics of my setup before I install my Ksport RR's.

Here's the Skunk2 Spring thread with the actual instructions from Skunk2 saying which coils go in front...
