i know very little about what this does....could you help me out? i know it has something to do with tuning....is it something i could have gains from on my own or would i need to take it to someone that can properly turn the car?

You would need someone to tune it for you properly to get accurate readings using a dyno. I'm very pleased with the one I use on my S.

if your talking about the harness that hooks it right up no.
you have to wire it to your ecu. but there is another part that hooks it together so if you were taking it in for warrant purposes then you could just unhook it. yeah the other part will be wired into your ecu.....but you can always just say you bought the car like that and left it alone. with the warranty i think its only if they see it actually on your car and functioning.

its not that hard to wire it in.
the harness is only 100 something if you would want to do it the easy way.

yeah you would need someone to tune it.
from the vafc2 you can change up your air and fuel and also adjust vtec points.
everyone has enjoyed it.
i just dont want to do it anymore cause i plan on doing nitrous and after that go boost...so ill end up getting kpro or aem

everyone says the neo's are better...sike!
the neo just has more colors....
by the way mine is the back in black vafc2

I have the AFC NEO and I would have to say it is better then the VAFC2. Has better fuel capability.

Hmm. How much power can you re-tune it to gain on a stock S, versus an S with intake and exhaust?
