Default Son of a B!

Sigh.. here's the damage. Shouldn't be too expensive to fix, right?

And that's why I put my car down on the frame and not the JACKING points. Too small of a touching surface for me to feel safe.

I put the jackstands on the front part of the frame where there is holes in the frame, and for the rear it sits near where the sub frame connects to the car.

I've left my car on stands for over 2 weeks before, didn't budge a millimeter.

And sorry for the crappy luck there. Atleast it didn't fall all the way down or worse, on you.

***EDIT*** Damn, I just re read the title. Sorry for talking for no reason. I just woke up from a nap. LOL.

Yeah.. I was jacking it up. I don't use those points for the jack stands.

On the front I put them on the black front crossbar. On the rear I put them on the ends of the subframe.

I had to take the saddle off the jack to get it to fit under the jack point.. I need to go pick up the harbor freight low profile jack.

Usually it wasn't a problem but because there was another car in the garage I didn't have a lot of room to work with and I wasn't being careful. bodyshop estimate is $250.
