i have the harbor freight blue aluminum jack. its good for the money. wears out quickly if you use it a lot though. it has a wide platform where you shouldnt ever have to worry about it slipping off. thats why i was curious to know what kind of jack you were using

oh man never mess with the jack everytime i jack mine up i drive it up on a 2x4 on the front tire and my jack goes under with no problems and never had a problem after that

Shit!!! I just had the same thing happen. Mine isn't nearly as bad but my car WAS dent free. I ****ed the same spot you did bro.

Damn Joe, Sucks to hear that. I got mine fixed, can't tell anything happened to it, but it cost me $400. Ouch. I picked up a low profile harbor freight jack for 65 bucks so this won't happen to me again.

Pm me the body shop. A friend of mine owns a body shop. I'm gonna call him tomorrow and see what he thinks.

I may buy a ings kit now and cover it up and be ghetto

Where did you get that jack? Does it reach all the way to the front and back center jack points?

Harbor freight is a store that sells tools. Check it out sometime. I'll go buy a new jack this week prolly

Yes, but what length jack do we need to get to the central jack points at the front and back. A quick search on s2ki didn't give answers that were explicit on this matter.

A long one lol. I didn't get an extra long jack, but just a lower profile one. That way I could use part of the subframe or the frame rail as jacking points instead of those itty bitty things. Pretty sure it still won't reach the central jack points with the car on the ground.
