Yea, the trip didn't start out too well, so instead of heading east, we headed south to Talihini in an attempt to get out of the rain. Once we got there, it was sunny pretty much the remainder of the trip. Unfortunately, on the way back today we got caught in a brief downpour with our tops down. About 30 seconds after we put our tops up, it stopped raining and the sun came back out. Craziness I tell ya!

So yea, there were a few stressful moments, but overall it was a blast! Just about every road we explored was a nice curvy one. We even discovered a few new ones along the way. Yea, I'm up for doing this again!

Here we are getting close to Talihina... after it stopped raining, but before we had a chance to put the tops down...

Tops gotta go down...

Approaching Talihina...

Stopped for lunch in Talihina...

Had to snap some pix of our cars with the mural...

My weak attempt at a reflection-in-the-puddle shot at one of the turnouts on the Talimena Drive...

Planes!

Planes... and automobiles... no trains in sight though. Oh well.

We all decided to stay the night in Hot Springs, AR. Here we are getting ready to head back to OK this morning (they're probabry just waiting on my slow @$$)...

There's nothing else to do on I-40 between Russellville and Ozark, so may as well snap some pix...

Thought this was kinda kewl...

Back in Tulsa now. Until next time!

Few pix from me. Thanks again for letting me bring my non-Honda car. I had a great time, can't wait for the next one. Also Jannet, LMk how those drive by pix of me came out. If possible can you post them so I can have them? Some cool pix Granny J!! Cleaned the car shortly after I got home.

Isn't being spontaneous fun! Glad you went!

Here are a few photos to share. I have a few more, if you would like a copy in jpg format - email me and I will send them to you on a disk.

Julie did you find it necessary to explain there was a Bumble Bee in the photo?

Actually I have a funnier pix, but I decided not to share.
