what do you think
a few people in the local honda world and a few trying to sell their cars have really gotten on my nerves lately. as you know, i have an S2000 and im looking to get a civic one to Daily Drive and hopefully boost one of my cars. i just think its weird that a lot of import owners trying to sell there cars are asking WAY more than the car is even close to being worth. and trying to sell a modified car with a sh!t load of money tossed into it when in fact the mods decrease the value of the car. no matter how much people spend on mods, its not going to increase the value of the car to other people. i have been looking at a few hatches and coupes over the past 2 weeks and most of the ones i have seen have been crapped out or modified, well more so molested to hell. i just think that people need to realize that mods do NOT increase the value of a car. i know that some people have some insanely fast cars and have put a lot of hard work into them, but getting a muffler/filter/ebay speacial header is not going to increase the value of the car by 100's of dollars.
I thought there was a drastic depreciation with the addition of aftermarket parts. I know that personally, I won't buy a car at all anymore unless it is 100% stock. So many people are cheap about modifying, and also terrible drivers. In other words, I won't take the chance at buying a ticking time bomb.
