Another exploration opportunity
This mother's day, my mom was out of town, so I had nothing to do Sunday.
So I went exploring the McKenzie area to scope out possible picnic areas for the upcoming drive.
While I was there, I encountered the sign for Cougar Reservoir which i had heard about from one of my computer clients had told me about when his Alfa Romeo club drove it.
SO naturally I went and checked it out a bit.
I only went about 7 miles in, but the road was great! VERY gorgeous area, tight turns, good two lanes of road, some very minor rock debris in a few places and 60 miles from the entrance all the way to Oakridge. I've heard the road is twisty almost the entire way.
Needless to say, I plan on trying out the entire road soon.
Anyone else interested?
