What does "roll fenders" mean? I've seen that phrase in here several times.

Generally speaking when someone chooses to lower their car or run a very aggressive set of wheels, its possible there might not be enough room for the wheels to clear the inside of the wheel well. Since the lip of the fender is generally the closes point to the tire itself, people use a fender roller to flare out the lip of the fender to allow for the wheel and tire to clear the travel distance of the wheel and tire.

Does it require re-painting? Does it significantly change the look of the fender? As I view the many pics on this site, are some of these cars rolled, and it's just not mentioned?

Generally speaking if its done correctly the paint will not chip, however if done quickly or extremely aggressive it can chip the paint as the metal bends. The look of the fender does change, significantly? That's open to each persons interpretations. I don't think you could ever get the fender to look like it once did once rolled but I could be wrong. Many Oregon members have rolled their fenders and can probably provide better insight than me
