Larry is an asset to this community/organization. They don't come any better then him. He's protecting the people of this community from fraud.

Has anyone actually read those things we're signing?

Thankfully no.
Larry and I now own your cars AND houses.
We're trying to decide what to sneak in to the next one...maybe pets?

it seems as if problem resolved itself, post was deleted by someone.

what i conclude from this thread is that only 2 out of the 12 posters have been asked for this personal information for a simple posting in that thread

i will not be giving out that information to the "community organizers" to put on their personal list to sell a set of volks or brides or whatever in a face to face local transaction

I don't think the "problem" resolved itself. Your post was deleted because you didn't comply with the rules of the forum.

The rest of us either haven't listed anything for sale on the site or VintageMac knows us personally.

He's just trying to verify the identity of possible scammers and thieves.

The post wasn't deleted by "someone"
It was deleted by me, for the exact reason Paul said.

Both Larry and I have PM'd you asking for your information.
I PM'd you yesterday morning asking one last time and told you very specifically that if you didn't pass it along, I would be deleting the post at the end of the day. No surprises.

If you want to sell something in a local transaction but dont want to follow the rules here, you can always use Craigslist.

This thread has done it's job, so it's going to be locked now.
