And what he's talking about clearly goes beyond hybrids, or automobiles entirely. People buy stuff because of how it's advertised and what they expect it to just do for them. The general populous doesn't take the time to learn how to use the tool to its capacity, or even for the mundane task they purchased it for. I see this all the time with computers. The notion that a computer will organize your life or business is absurd! It's just a tool that you use to organize yourself. Without your quality input and control the tools you purchase aren't worth much more than a pile of bricks. Especially if you bought a pile of bricks!
