Cabin Filter

After 5 years of owning my S...I just found out it has a cabin filter. It looks wrong!!

How often do you check and change your cabin filter.

I just changed mine @ 60k miles. First time since I owned the car at 20k.
It was really nasty too.

I believe it's rec. every 30k or 2 years.

Just did mine at 40K, it was really bad. Will start checking it once a year from now on since the part is pretty cheap, no reason to not change it if/when needed.

I did mine when i got the car at 75k.

It wasn't black. It was brown. It was SOLID. There were no ribs in the filter, they were filled level with crap. I'm about due to change it again, it's been 30k now that I think on it.
