Default Cascade Mountains(?) Drive - June 9th

★★★Cascade Mountains Drive - June 9th★★★

S2Ki Oregon - The fun starts here!

Join Us Saturday, June 9th for our 1st official drive of the 2018 season!
Ok, so we realize that this "Cascade Mountain" drive has a bit fewer mountains than you might have expected. We promise that it's worth it!

We will be meeting in East Vancouver before heading out for a day of canyon carving and views of some mountain scenery around the foothills of Mt. Adams and the gorge. Partway through, we will stop for some lunch in The Dalles before continuing our journey through the Mt Hood area!

We’ll start out at the IHOP in Vancouver, WA, departing at 8:30am! Please plan on arriving early. Optional breakfast at IHOP at 7:30am for those wishing to attend.
Once we depart, we’ll head east, along Highway 14 to enjoy some "tunnel VTEC" before breaking off into the hills near White Salmon!

Diverting over at BZ Corner, we'll experience some enjoyable and technical canyon roads into Glenwood.
After that, a group favorite, coming down through the Klickitat River canyon.

A quick jump over the river will bring us to lunch at Zim's Brau Haus Sports Bar.

From here, we break south on Highway 197 towards Dufur, and then West towards Mt. Hood.

Circling around the mountain, we'll explore a few fun backroads, avoiding Highway 26 before coming into Sandy and returning to Portland.

This should be a very fun drive and a great way to kick off the season. Hope to see all of you there!

Note:This is the Oregon S2000 Owners Forum. As such, our drives are exclusively for S2000's and their owners in Oregon and S.W. Washington.

Our drives are not open to the general public, which includes those who used to own an S2000, hope to own one, those with similar cars, or those who think the drive we've put together sounds fun and would like to tag along, etc.

We are not trying to be snobby here, but are trying to clarify what we are about – The fun and adventure of Honda S2000 & NSX ownership.

I'm in. Did the Goldendale > Glenwood > BZ Corners run on Sunday, what an awesome drive! Lots of good roads in the area so whatever the route is it'll be a great drive...

A little water never hurt anyone. There might be a cold in your future but no real harm. Cough, cough.

It's looking so in Vancouver but up the gorge a bit it gets better.
