That's kind of hard to believe unless you live in a small town somewhere. Most poepl have seen an S2000 at least a couple of times. I saw 3 the other night while I was driving in Beaverton. And how can you have the top down when in the past 2 weeks it has rained almost every single day. The other thing is that cops can't pull you over to see what kind of car it is, that's illegal and they would not risk their job to do so. Perhaps you're stretching the truth a little?
One was oregon city, and one was portland, but they both used the same excuse when pulling me over about the car's exhaust being far too noisy, they paced me for awhile, and I was shifting at redline for first right next to them and driving in second at the end of the powerband, so I completely expected to get pulled over.

Both asked a bunch of questions about the car, and both "stated" that they had never seen a Honda like it. Maybe they have, and mistook another one for a Miata, I don't know, that's just what both officer's said to me.

I've only seen one S, it was downtown, and I thought the guy stole my car at first.

As far as the weather, as long as it isn't raining, i've been top down, windows up, and heat blasting as much as possible, I hate that rear left blind spot with the top up.

I've been pulled over about Over 8 times since I bought the car 1 1/2 years ago... Never once did I get a warning or did they ask what kind of car it is!! DAMN!

Ran with an SL55 or M5? Hmmm....

Well congrats on the S2!

When I first got it, the top was done ALWAYS unless it was raining HEAVILY. HAHHA
Heater: check, TNF 700 down jacket: check.... More mph = less wet (maybe that's why I have the run-ins with the cops as mentioned above).
I matched up at a stoplight with those cars, because they initiated it and revved at me, but I did not take the bait because I understand the limitations of my car.

I never stated that I could take either of those models, but if the road was twisty enough, and devoid of flashing blue lights, I'd give it a shot for the hell of it.
