We will be sitting down in the coming weeks to plan out this year's drives and wanted to see if there was any input for the year that you'd like us to consider!
Is there somewhere you'd like to see?
A road you've found or heard about that you want to share and explore?
Some trip you've been meaning to make but haven't had the chance yet? (and it'd be more fun with a bunch of other S2000 drivers???)
There's some roads on the WA side of the gorge up to St. Helens i wouldn't mind exploring. Also some of the roads to the SE of Portland, out of Clackmas around Mt. Hood.
Random, but Karting event at Sykart or Pats Acres when it opens?
I'd really like to re-visit Lake Chelan and Leavenworth. If we don't do that, let's pick something else that involves a few days!
I second that motion! One of my best trips of 2016 was to, around and back from that area. I'd be happy to share details of that trip if others are interested.
How about a meeting over breakfast one of these Saturdays or Sundays at, say, the Donald Cafe (in Donald, duh! ) to share ideas and to begin to make plans?

All good ideas. Spin the bottle (not that we ever have anything to do with bottles!), pick a spot for lunch and plan a day trip around it and there's probably an interesting way to get there. And I like the idea of karting...
I like the idea of the Lake Chelan/Leavenworth drive. Other fun 2 day drives would be Oregon Caves, Crater Lake, and John Day/Painted hills. One day trips would be McKenzie, maybe the Eugene to Reedsport, and Quartzville.
Karting sounds fun and could be done anytime at Sykart to fill the void.
