Whats a typical drive like with the group? How many in attendance? Casual twisty drive with lunch or balls out with multiple bar stops? Overnighters and long distance trips or short drives with multiple stops?

Interested in some introductions to the group and the roads!

Cheers

Well after a bit more exploring I found the answers to most of my questions in a sticky. Glad "the pace" is a norm peice of literature for drives. It was mandatory for moto rides back in the day.

To answer your other questions, drives are usually early start, relatively frequent restroom breaks (at least one in the AM because coffee), lunch mid-day, cruising twisty backroads in between stops at "The Pace", and home by 6. I've seen as few as 6 cars, and as many as 15 or 20 over the last couple years. Always fewer drivers for early season, poor weather, and 2 day trips. We've only got one overnighter scheduled, and Aaron, Doug, or Ira will be posting more details about that as the season gets underway and hotel reservations get sorted out.

The first drive will be a fairly casual affair. Just a quick lunch stop as far as I know, with a short jaunt to get there and back. Given the absolutely epic winter we've had so far and lots of snowy passes, we may have to wait for the really fun stuff to open up
