I had mine tuned at PRE as I have no idea how to mess with the flash pro. I take it that the flash pro has a few base maps so you can run on?

If you follow the faq that comes with the flash pro it will tell you how to connect and download your stock map and then upload one of the included maps. If you don't have a wideband I would take it to PSI in hillsboro and have them tune your car.

Also you can go to the main forum and click on the engine managment forum and there is a plethora of flashpro info on there from people with stock cars.

Here are some videos from hondata about flash pro and how to navigate it.

I would wait for more mods, but people have seen gains on a stock car. Better drivability and more mpg.

His car is a 2006. Usually dyno time is dyno time, does not matter if your n/a or boosted. N/a should be cheaper as there is less going on that has to be adjusted for.

Correct. Every shop I've seen, including us, charges for tuning by the hour. An experienced tuner can look at what you've got and give you an idea of how many hours it'll take, but in the end it's an hourly thing. Obviously things get more complicated as you add mods like bigger injectors, turbo, nitrous, etc.

Tuning a properly running turbo/sc car vs a properly running NA car isn't much different unless you're doing boost by gear or stuff like that. It still boils down to fuel and ignition maps.

I'd run a stock map until you've got header, cat-back, and HFC/TP. Once you've got those, a tune will be worth it.
