Default Gasoline credit card?

I've always paid cash for gas. I'm getting tired of that - and I'm not tracking my gas expenses that well! The best-price gas stations in my neighborhood are a Chevron, 76, and Space Age (depending upon which direction I happen to be driving). Is there one credit card I could use at all of them? Or do I have to get a Chevron card and just stick with one brand? (Use my VISA card?) Any suggestions?

Personally, I would take Chevron every time just because of Techron, but most gas cards have intensely high APR compared to other cards. The rewards are usually pretty miniscule unless you are spending TONS.

Get a credit card from your bank/credit union and just force yourself to only use it for gas.

I am using Shell and have been for years. I am getting 3 cents off per gallon right now just for using my card.

Cash = $$ from my checking account, so maybe I should get a bank debit card. I never liked those because they don't require a PIN like an ATM card or a signature like a credit card. Thanks for your replies. I still like the gas credit card option.
