Default Gran Turismo?

I just saw on the official Gran Turismo website that Gran Turismo for PSP was available for purchase as of the 1st. If anyone in the group that is going on Saturday's drive has GT for PSP and could bring it, I would love to see it (:

Still waiting on GT5 so I can buy a PS3 Slim ...

I was going to pick it up for PSP, but probably won't have it by the drive.

I keep waiting on buying a PS3, want it really bad, just can't justify the expense when I have a Wii, PS2, PSP, 2 DS's. Maybe Santa will be good to me this year!

My PSP has custom firmware and I have it on a memory stick and could bring it except for one small problem. GT requires firmware 6.00 and CFW is only on 5.5 as of now, so it wont load.

Reviews I've read have said that it's "ok" but sort of a disappointment because once you finish the license tests (very fun) the rest of the game is "go and race this track" with no real goal or progression system like the bigger GT games.

Sad.

I really enjoyed GT5:Prologue. Still have more races to do but got sidetracked by Forza 2 in preparation for Forza 3

Now I need to save up for

I realize they're working within certain confines, but automobile peddles are hung from above and swing - they do not press down into the floor. That was my single biggest frustration with my old GT rig. I wanted to turn the peddle mechanism around and rewire it but never got around to doing the work.

I'm just happy they are finally getting the hint and adding full clutch support to games AND wheels.

I always had this problem with Gran Turismo that after a session in front of the TV I had to have equal down-time before getting behind the wheel of a real car, or else just hand over my license. So I tried to keep it to a few hours before going to bed.

Did you guys forget that you actually have a very fun REAL sports car outside?

You don't need a virtual car for kicks.

My very fun REAL sports car outside isn't on the Nurburgring.

I'd love for someone to build a similar, but longer and more bendy, type of public circuit here on the west coast of North America.
