Greenkey light issue!
Picked up a 2007 s2000 and the dash had been removed. I got the car and pugged the harness in, cluster, turn signals etc. went to start the car and it would just keep turning, wouldn't start. It took me a minute after a buddy helped me, but I noticed the green key light wasn't even coming on, on my cluster..... I'm also showing a check engine code p0600 which is serial communication link....
I have the original key, ignition etc. I've checked all the fuses, I'm at a loss. I'm going to tinker with it again tomorrow, but would accept any possible help to shorten the length of my efforts in getting my vehicle started.

Original key, ignition...how about ECU? It's also possible there could be some communication break between the immobilizer and the ecu (wiring). I know you plugged in the harness, but it could be in that area if the ECU goes with the car.
Sounds like there may be an issue with the immobilizer system, which can prevent your car from starting. You could also try resetting the computer, if you haven't already. Be sure that your have your radio code if you still have the stock head unit.
Good Luck!

Heading to the shop tomorrow to fudge with it. Yeah everything is original. Its a 07 with 42k all original panels, everything. I'm almost wondering if the green light bulb took a poop. I'm going to check. Yes anan, another green key deal. Except this one is a uncut harness lol. I have the dash out already to make life easier. It's something stupid, I know it. I reset computer already, checked all fuses, but recently read there was a issue with 07 and if you leave the ignition on more than 4 hours you have to get keys re programmed.

I'll figure it out, just figured any help from fellow board members would possibly cut my time in half. I'm getting tired of working on s2000, lol.

Sounds like you need to have your key programmed. Take your title to the honda dealer and get the immobilzer by pass code. It's a sequence of pushes on the brake to bypass it. If that works then it deff needs to be programmed. From there, call 360 imports in Vancouver. He's an ex honda technician and can program your key for 50 bucks.

Yeah brake code may work. I'm having a matching ecu and key dropped off by a buddy with an 06. I'll try that real quick. As for Beaverton Honda, they lost my business a while ago with their asshole service department management. Tonkin Honda on 122nd alllllllll day!
