Thanks Marc. What did you cut with. All I have is a dremel, seems like I might need a better tool.

Well I used my dremel. Wish I had an angle grider, the dremel took about an hour. Then another 30 mins because I found another pic of where to cut the beam, and I decided my 1st cut wasnt far enough in. Anyway, Im done with the cutting, now I need to get it painted.

on my headlights the ballast under neath the headlight didn't have a good seal and thats where some of the moisture was getting in. You may want to check that or just put silicone in there while you have them out.

The definitive work on this project is located in the Under the Hood Forum. Search "Clear Corners". From the list look for a post from a guy named "Arnell"....."Clear Corner Mod How To (long)". This is the definitive thread on the topic of headlight modification. It's under clear corner because when Arnell hung it all out and was one of the first to try it we didn't have the drop in lens (first brought to S2Ki by Rick Hesel (Ricks custom leather). If you should have any condensation (usually from the wet towel noted in the how to), fire up the headlights for a few minutes with the turn and parking sockets out.....dries it right out.

So a little history and a link you will thank me for later if you are considering this mod.
