Hey There
Totally, I have only been on the east side of McKenzie (took in the sites at the top and turned back around). Would be cool to head over the west side to check things out! I am up for hookin' up... but would like to wait to get my ride so I don't feel to much in left field...

Hey CO guys
kearbi- When do you pick up that beauty?
As soon as the snow melts and the city takes care of all that red rock crap on the ground I will be up for a local meet
I have yet to take the McKenzie or Century drive. I have been down here in Redmond for about a year now. You guys will have to show me the good drives down here. In september I am planning on having a "Redmond" meet down here for the Portland area folks. Maybe you guys can help me organize everything
BTW- Do either of you guys know a good place down here for an alignment? I really need to get an alignment done since I installed the Espelirs.
Hope to meet you guys soon,
Brandon

I pick her up on the 17th - cant wait
The red rock they put on the road over get's everywhere; in every crack and crevice! Makes it real hell cleaning the car!!
Yeah I have only been in Bend for little over a year - moved over from Vancouver. I have spent years coming over and loved the scenery. I would be happy to help you guys with a drive...
Century Drive heads up to to the Cascade Lakes (40 lakes in 40 miles is it's claim to fame). Great views of Mt Bachelor, The Sisters and Broken Top. Mckenzie Pass is just or more as breathtaking through large lava flows and great views of The Sisters, Mt. Jefferson and Mt Hood to name a few. You also go through Sisters in which is pretty cool and quite a tourists trap.
I have always wanted to take a trip to Steens Mountain and the Albert Rim but that is quite the drive
I think you guys have talked about a Crater Lake run which is awesome but I must warn you that its another 2 hours away from Bend and the trip between Crater Lake and LaPine is absolutely mind numbing. (Very straight and you always seem to get behind a caravan of "speed sensitive people")
However once you get there it is absolutely worth it. They also have a couple of resturants to eat at and plenty room to park cars for pics.
I am sorry, I do not know of any good alignment shops in town... I could ask around for you though.

the Cascade Lakes highway ends up intersecting with Highway 58, or 42, I can never remember what the highway is...
Problem solved
depending on when we go, if they havent cleared the top part of the CL highway, we could cut from century drive onto the bypass to sunriver, and then cut back to the cascake lakes highway, continue on to 58(42), and then out to crater. That would be a good full day trip there and back.

Hey,
What do all of you Central Oregon guys got on your plate for this coming weekend? If the weather is decent are you up for a little meet?
PM me if you guys want to meet up and maybe go for a little cruise
I thought about trying to get a hold of some of you guys this weekend since it was soooo nice but I went hiking at Smith Rock instead
Let me know,
Brandon
