And then of course there's the Wrangler where you can snatch the doors clean off. E and I took them off our Wrangler and I have to agree with Jeremy from the Z1 video - "THAT'S COMFY!"

Still, I think alternative door mechanisms are a good thing to explore. I really liked the Koenigsegg doors until they scrapped it and now just use traditional swinging doors.
