Default J's Racing fully built engine

Work is a little slow today, and I'd come across this F22C1 that J's racing of Japan offers as a replacement to our stock F22C1 engine.

It is a fully built naturally aspirated engine. I noticed that Evasive has it listed on their website too...The cool thing that I noticed was the power output...320 horsepower

"The F22C Engine is assembled by J’s Racing experienced mechanics with special attention to every detail for the ultimate performance engine. With an extra 200cc, your S2000 will feel greater acceleration and torque. We have several stages of performance engines from 270 hp to 320 hp."

I wonder what it would feel like to have a naturally aspirated power output like that coming from our engines while keeping the other dynamics of our engines the same.

Who's in to get one and give me a ride??

I have seen that on their website too. Definitely do want. Imagine boosting off that engine too, that would be amazing. Just putting that NA into the car though would be great too, wouldnt even need to boost.

I completely agree with using that a starting point to boost an engine. It's definitely cool to see what the differences can be made when take the time to upgrade components like that for an end goal.

I'm trying to find some more spec's on exactly what the internal compartments are comprised of.

I do love some of these awesome engine being built not sure if its worth 12k though.... Also im perplexed at the 500$ valve cover. A new replacement runs 180$ and powdercoating a valve cover would be less than 50$. So where is the extra 250$ going? is an extra 250 worth just having a name attached to the cover? Im all for Good quality stuff but some of this is insane. Dont get me started on the 200$ ac delete belt

That engine is good for about 10,000 normal miles or 1,000 track miles before needing a rebuild. The one with 270 hp would last longer.

The Spoon one would be better for an actual replacement for the OEM engine: http://www.gotuning.com/product_info.php?f...products_id=262

You sure? It would be so tempting to buy that engine, or even the spoon one. I would love to have a 9k redline, but the second version of the F20 only.

The 320 hp engine is for time attack. The conditions of that competition are such that the teams don't mind rebuilding the engine every few track days. Do you honestly think it would be possible to make a version of our engine that would have that much horsepower and go for as many miles as an OEM engine? If it were possible, it surely wouldn't sell for that price.
