Having owned an S2000 with 240 hp I can say that moving to a 330 hp Z4M coupe is nice. It does pull harder and the interior is much better IMO. I like the more power aspect here...

Would love to have 270 hp in a 4 banger. That would be sweet. As long as it could last abuse..

I do love some of these awesome engine being built not sure if its worth 12k though.... Also im perplexed at the 500$ valve cover. A new replacement runs 180$ and powdercoating a valve cover would be less than 50$. So where is the extra 250$ going? is an extra 250 worth just having a name attached to the cover? Im all for Good quality stuff but some of this is insane. Dont get me started on the 200$ ac delete belt
I was the first owner in the United States to run the J's Racing valve cover and it was not $500. I paid $330 from BPT back in 2002 or 2003. Its been almost 10 years so the price should be lower, not higher.

Here is an old pic of my S2000 back in 2004-05...

Im sure you can find it cheaper but this is taken directly from j's racing' website

S2000 Valve Cover F20C early model Parts# SHC-S1-A
S2000 Valve Cover F20C late model Parts# SHC-S1-B
S2000 Valve Cover F22C Parts# SHC-S2
Price $484.00

The S2000 Valve Cover is powder coated with metallic green which represents the J’s Racing brand. It provides an accent on your engine bay with an eye catching appearance

Yeah way to much. The valve cover should be in the $200 range at this point. I mean come on its been available since late 2002. 9 years old already. lol

To build any Honda motor right, will take over 10k.

sleeving
good porting
custom header
itb's or custom manifold
EMS
Each one of these things will cost over 1k.
