Possibly the fuel pump is out? Can't be an injector or vacuum line as that will make the car idle rough. When you said you did a fresh tune up, what was involved? Did a shop do it or did you do it yourself?

@StellarS2K ... Fix the car? Curious what the issue is/was?

I haven't had a chance. I've worked 25 hours the last 2 days so I've pretty much been working or sleeping :-/ are Paul Nix in Salem or AR in Lake Oswego still the best shop options around? Im hoping people can chime in on the best option to diagnose and remedy this issue. It's supposed to be beautiful this week and would have really liked to drive the S. . . Even if it's just to work and back.

I do know AR is very busy at the moment as it's the start of track season but they may be able to squeeze you in.

Some of the guys on here are very knowledgeable and may be able to swing by if tempted by beer, or possibly create a thread in the Under Hood forum...

Ok Everyone! First off, thank you for all the replies. With similar advice from AR, I checked the fuel system. Turns out the fuel system depressurized due to a low amount of fuel, and and a loose gas cap. . . . (Thanks Chevron) weird thing is, I know there was enough fuel but with attempting to start it multiple times without pressure I believe it caused air in my line, thus furthering the problem. Alas, after adding 2 gas cans worth of fuel and repriming the system, she started up after 2 tries and is back to running strong. Thanks again everyone!

Glad it was a simple fix. Had a feeling it was fuel system related. Now you're just in time for top down weather this weekend!
