Just changed my oil and my maintenance light is still on. I tried to reset it with the trip button as suggested but its just not doing it. Not sure whats going on. Any suggestions?

From what I understand after talking to a "Service Advisor" at the dealership, those Maintenance Required lights are ONLY triggered by odometer readings and simply suggest when you should have routine maintenance performed.

I am guessing you are not using the correct buttons to reset it.

Yea it worked fine for me. Get it up to where the little wrench is up. Then hold the odometer button for 10 seconds. Wait for it to blink. Hold it again for another 5 seconds and it should go away. That's what I did after my oil change and it worked fine.

You are supposed to hold TRIP, and then turn the key to ON and keep holding TRIP until the Maint. Light stops flashing, simple.

I've done it several times without issue.

It is only a mileage counter anyway, If you cant get it to disable again, it's just annoying to see, nothing more.
