Remember, take a easy on me, I'm only a girl, I take my car into the dealership because it's easy

That is a pretty common price for a battery. You could go to Sears and get their Gold series and it will run you about $99. Don't go cheap on a battery. They usually last a long time as long as you don't have other problems. $20 more dollars for a nicer battery is a cheap price to pay.
The good thing about sears is that they will replace them under warranty on the spot

Wilsonville Honda has them for about $100 for the 100 month battery, thats were I got mine. Just call them and talk to Jeff in the parts dept. and ask for the "S2000 club disount."
Otherwise you can go with the Odyssey Battery which will give you some weight reduction.

I've seen the price range any where between $80-120. I replaced mine last year from NAPA for about $90. Its a S2000 specific battery, I was told, and in there system, only one battery they made will fit; Kinda weird I thought.
I recommend when you buy a new battery, don't let them just toss it in your car unless you know they charged it to 100% before the installation, or you could just buy it bring it home and charge it up with some kind of battery tender, because most of the time the battery you buy has been sitting on a shelf for some time, and they are most likely not at 100% charge. This will insure you get the full life of the battery no matter which brand you bought.
When I bought my brand new battery, I hooked it up to my charger, it showed only 85% full, and took about another 4hrs on low current to fully charge it to 100%.
