Default New Clutch needed?

When I'm at a stop the car seems to chirp/squeak.. But when i push in the clutch, the chirp/squeaking goes away.. after the last photo shoot some of the guys said its probably the clutch bearings being worn.. and if im going to replace it i might as well get a new clutch.. what is the best bang for the buck for clutch replacement? (might aswell upgrade to a light weight flywheel while im at it )
I have not tracked the car and don't plan on going hardcore power upgrades with this car because it is my daily. just something reliable and inexpensive.

is this on craiglist a good deal?

Bad deal, you could spend a little more and get a Science of speed clutch or act or clutchmasters.

New setups for n/a power are around 650.00+ or - depending on what your looking for.

Then you need to figure out if your going to install it or have someone do it. Its not a bad job I have done 5-6 of them.

Steven you could also swing back by forged if your ever out in the area and have them take a listen as to what it is too, just to make sure.

Not trying to ninja the thread, but on this very topic.. When my S2K is cold in the morning 2nd gear can be a bear to get into. My S2K is a 05 w/ 40k miles on it, is this a sign my clutch is getting ready to die?

Back to the normal programing....

Try changing the trans fluid to something like GM Syncromesh or the *new* Honda MTF. It might solve your problem. If it's original fluid @40k miles, you're well due for a flush.

Sorry for the threadjack

yes you are - and that is typical sometimes of a cold tranny, not a bad clutch.

I would make sure I get a second POV from a pro before putting in a new clutch, it could be something else, and easier/cheaper to fix.

I think i have a discount coupon for a SOS clutch kit that I got from homecoming II, I will look for it and let you know.

I had a clutchmasters clutch and there light weight flywheel really nice products... i suggest you add a light flywheel when you do the clutch too
