Default New to Portland.

Just wanted to say hello. My fiance' and I moved up here a few months ago from Phoenix since I got a new job and so far we love it here. I look forward to seeing a few of you guys out at PIR sometime. And speaking of HPDE's is there a group I can run with without having the instuctor my first event here? I've done probably 25 events with NASA/PASA and ASRA and would finally like to have my better have get a ridealong.

Thanks Ira! We moved up a couple months ago and needless to say we are glad to be out of the Arizona heat. I will miss all of the roadcourses there though. I look foward to meeting some members here soon. It looks like you guys are well organized.

We try

Many HPDE courses up here are limited to cars with roll bars though, you'll see the discussions. Here's a link to the most recent...

Im glad to hear that there is one group here atleast that finds the oem protection good enough. NASA didn't have a problem when I had my old Ap2 on track.

Welcome to the area! Be prepared for our two seasons of weather here: June to September is the 'Warm Rain' season, October to May is the 'Cold Rain' season!
