Anyway just got my tires for the rear!! Bridgestone Re760 255/40/17..
i'm now running 215/255?...i took it out today and test it out!! i think the sidewall softer then the Re050 but great traction drive really smooth, don't know if the 215/255 is right for the car??, might go back to 215/245!...

I think you are either supposed to go 225/255 or 215/245. I don't know what the side effects of going 215/255 is though

Hey anyone here run 215 in the front and 255 in the rear??... I'm currently running this setup and discovered that it causes understeering and the car drives like the front wheel is not touching the ground. Not sure why it feels like that, maybe because the OEM tires are much harder in the rear. Don't know if the 255 changed the gear ratio or not. If anyone can help, please feel free to give me your input.....oh by the way my fronts are OEM Bridgestone RE050 215/45/17 and the rear are new Bridgestoone RE760 255/40/17.

From what I understand, with the 215/255 you will developed understeer like you are experiencing. Idealling I think with the 255 rears you would need a 225 fronts. A good resource is the tire forum. They will be able to help you more. Good Luck!

Of course it will be different if you have made any suspension changes.

On an AP1 like my '00 a larger front sway bar and 225/245 puts the car back in balance. I would think it varies a little depending on YM since the suspension evolved over time.

I've got my new tires. 225/245 Ecsta MXes.

They rock, but i had a hair raising trip going up to get them. I mean, really. WHO THE HELL SAID SNOW IN APRIL????11!!

...this is what my ES100s looked like about 3 hours after I spun from the slow lane into the center divider on I-5 North on my way to get tires Saturday.
