Sorry to hear. I spun a rod bearing shortly after I bought my car rebuilding it was More then buying a replacement motor. When I rebuilt the motor I had a ACT hd clutch PP and albs flywheel. Like u said it's stiff and feels like a puck. But is this something I should worry bout?

Over on the FI forum a question like that starts a fist fight

Does a stiff clutch CAUSE crank walk? Technically, no: trashed thrust bearings allow that to happen. Does a clutch wear them out? I dunno - plenty of guys are using some might strong clutches to hold 300 ft/lbs of torque without any problems, so the answer can't be that simple. Best advice: change your oil, consider the clutch-start bypass mod (allows starting without having to depress the clutch), change your oil, check out your clutch the minute you feel something different, and, lastly, change your oil.

100% support your decision. Oh, and just curious, what tranny fluid have you been using?

Good question - I had the trans fluid changed at the dealership about 10K ago, so OEM grade stuff.

Honda's newer MTF is supposed to be top notch. It's what I've been running for the past two changes and everything still seems OK.

Phew! Last thing I need is for the tranny to crap out cuz of bad juice. I can only take so much of this at a time...
