Sorry to hear. I spun a rod bearing shortly after I bought my car
rebuilding it was More then buying a replacement motor. When I rebuilt the motor I had a ACT hd clutch PP and albs flywheel. Like u said it's stiff and feels like a puck. But is this something I should worry bout?

Does a stiff clutch CAUSE crank walk? Technically, no: trashed thrust bearings allow that to happen. Does a clutch wear them out? I dunno - plenty of guys are using some might strong clutches to hold 300 ft/lbs of torque without any problems, so the answer can't be that simple. Best advice: change your oil, consider the clutch-start bypass mod (allows starting without having to depress the clutch), change your oil, check out your clutch the minute you feel something different, and, lastly, change your oil.
Over on the FI forum a question like that starts a fist fight
