1998 Silver BMW 318ti.

Been a pretty good little car to her. No major issues at all (surprisingly)
NEW!
2010 Velocity Red Mica (aka Arrest Me Red) Mazda3s Sport Hatch.
Moonroof and Bose option
24 miles on it (when she bought it).
It's a crazy long story as to how the deal went down, but the basics:
Local dealer gave a price
Checked dealers in the valley and got quotes for MUCH lower.
Told local dealer of lower price.
Local salesman said "We *will* match" on 2 separate occasions so Shonda gets a friend who wants to buy the bimmer. They work it all out and get ready to buy.
Go in and the local dealer tells us "We can't match, but we'll sell it to you for $800 more than we promised"
Told dealer where to stick it and walked out (at 7pm after wasting an hour there arguing). Shonda is freaking because she basically promised her car to this friend who already went and got a credit line to buy the bimmer.
Called Power Mazda in Salem at 7:30pm, Salesman said (in writing) he'd give us the lowest quoted price so we headed out the door and crashed at a hotel that night.
Picked up the car this morning, was there for *maybe* 2 hours to finalize all the paperwork, get the final dealer prep, get a walkthrough of some of the features, and off we went back home.
I give major props to Clint out at Power Mazda. He saved the day.
Robberson Mazda here in Bend can
Needless to say, Shonda's very excited and thrilled.
*I* cant wait to detail it to make it shine like it's supposed to.
I miss my 318ti with the Sport package. Had a 3 yr lease on one back 12 years ago. Handled great (the Sport pkg was basically the M series stuff except the engine ), good room as a hatch, "distinct" styling sure to start a conversation, but at the end of the day 138 crank hp just didn't get the job done!
