So I took my S to the dealership (ron tonkin) last week to do the oil change and they said both my coolant and clutch fluids were bad as well as low brake fluid. The car has 45,000 miles but i did do the 30k fluid change of oil, rear diff, and tranny two years ago. Is the clutch fluid part of the tranny fluid that i changed? or different? I guess it is $200 bucks to just do the coolant and clutch fluid but I am not too worried about it right now since the car has been sitting for some time and will be for most of the winter. The brake fluid i guess i can just top it off. I planned on getting everything taken care of when the weather turns out better.

Clutch fluid is different and separate from the tranny fluid. It's easy to flush yourself, but helps a lot to have a second person.

I've always heard that low brake fluid is a solid indicator of worn out pads. Unless there is a leak in the system, the fluid should slowly lower as the pads wear out.
