I just got a set of the CR wheels. So 7" and 8.5". Will theyre be much of an issue with that.

You wont rub at all with CR wheels, they are the stock offset. You can just put them on bro.

Yeah im not worried about rubbing. What im really debating is whether to run a 215 or 225 up front. Id like that a 225 will fill my wheel well a bit. And i figure that itll provide more grip, but are there any downsides i need to consider?

i think the only downside is the price and the diameter will be bigger so it will be a bit heavy. ...try to go to tirerack.com and find out the specs of the width of the tires and compare....then you'll know what i'm talking about.

I am not sure, but if you put more grip on the front, will that make the rear break easier?

Not necessarily easier...It will still have the same grip and require the same amount of force to break it free...however the front will have more grip and therefore you'll be able to produce a greater amount of lateral g-force.

are you referring to the rear breaking loose, or the rears braking easier? if its the second, i agree with evan if its breaking loose then no.

breaking easier - more grip front means the same grip rear will net less grip -
